Ballroom

There is no cooler place in the Charlottesville area to have a party, banquet or reception. There may be newer places with shiny florescent lights, but there is nothing that can match the nostalgic ambiance of the Fry's Spring Beach Club Ballroom.

The Ballroom can hold 500 dancing people today just as well as it did when the likes of Glenn Miller's Orchestra graced the stage back in the swing era. There is a stage for bands, DJ, or presentations. There are vintage deco-esque booths and tables for dining. There is even a disco ball to illuminate those late night shenanigans.

Cafe

The downstairs Cafe offers a variety of short-order foods including hamburgers and french fries, as well as some more healthful options, such as sandwich wraps. The Cafe also offers a range of beverages, including sodas, water, Gatorade, domestic and import beer, and wine.

Gameroom

The downstairs Gameroom provides an escape from the heat of the summer, offering a pool table, air hockey, and several arcade games.

Garden Terrace Room and Bar

If your event doesn't require the Ballroom, we have smaller, more intimate spaces available. The Bar has an old-fashioned polished wood bar, and can be arranged in a variety of ways with the adjoining Terrace Room to accommodate up to one hundred partiers or diners.

Lower Patio

The Lower Patio is a fantastic location to enjoy some food from the Cafe or host an entire event. Located in a very scenic position, between the historic clubhouse and the beautiful pools, amid the flowing green grounds, the Lower Patio is a great location events throughout the seasons.
